Review of The Black Dahlia (2006) by Keith K — 29 Nov 2009
DePalma's take on James Elroy's novel about the Black Dahlia murder in the 40's Hollywood. The director offers us his usual visual bravura but the charaters are left surpisingly shallow and the biggest flaw is almost leaving the said murder in the background.
Nobody from the star filled cast rises above others and as a whole this one left me a bit cold.
