Review of The Black Cauldron (1985) by Matthew K — 14 Jul 2008
I cannot say enough about this film, you've probably never even heard of it, much less seen it. do so for the sake of humanity! This film was forgotten for over a decade and remains relatively unknown to this day.
If anybody likes to read, read up on the film's history, it's excesses at the time, and the controversey it stirred up. God only knows what the reaction would have been if they hadn't censored certain scenes, very un-disney like, but hey, it was the 80's, and wh's really pleased with the state of the disney corporation these days anyway?
