Review of The Black Cauldron (1985) by Doug F — 22 Jan 2009
I'd be curious to see how much of this is on the cutting room floor because apparently it was heavily edited to avoid getting a higher rating. It certainly shows itself to be an ambitious project for Disney and it shines in artistic style and story.
However, it falls heavily from bad pacing and lack of character development. I wish I could see it unleash its full potential.
