Review of The Black Cauldron (1985) by Jeremy S — 19 May 2010
A superbly animated feature that seems to rely heavily on fantasy genre convention than on story. The characters and setting don't feel particularly distinct, nor is there any sense of danger or tension with the rise of the evil king.
While it is well executed every thing about it feels average at best.
