Review of The Black Cauldron (1985) by Sarah P — 02 Oct 2010
Disney's dark fantasy epic is perhaps the greatest animated feature of all time. Scary, wholesome, and adventurous, The Black Cauldron is a terrific tale of good vs. evil, where friendship and pure heart triumphs over that which is wrong.
Throw in a bit of humor and a sense of wonder and you've got one cool movie. Now all we need is the uncut version of the film, with the deleted scenes that earned a PG-13/R rating (the man being dissolved by mist, more terror brought by the army of the dead, and more blood) but also any other scenes that were deleted.
Please, Disney, GIVE US THE UNCUT VERSION!
