Review of The Black Cauldron (1985) by Graham M — 14 Sep 2012
It felt strange seeing familiar animation in a film that I had never even seen clips of before (largely due to Disney's intent on disowning this film as it was a box-office failure). The characters and plot aren't particularly fleshed out or likeable, though John Hurt does do a thoroughly frightening villain.
Overall, it's a film probably best forgotten.
