The Black Cauldron is a tricky Disney film. Being dark, phantasmagorical and cutesy all at the same time is a tough chore, but I think this film pulls all of these elements together quite well, indeed.
If you enjoyed Ridley Scott's Legend, Ron Howard's Willow and the like, you are bound to enjoy this animated Disney quasi-classic.
