Disney's 25th animated feature is a beautifully animated film. The darkness of the film may have frightened children who saw it, which caused the film to be an underrated box-office failure. The Black Cauldron proves to be a wonderful adventure tale for the older audiences.
This film also gives us one of the best villains Disney has ever made, the Horned King.
