Review of The Black Cauldron (1985) by Alex M — 17 Nov 2008
The ending sucks. There was no big struggle, I felt like the movie has to end. So cut the crap, end it now, anyway you can... The last scene where the group goes ''home'', the background is all green and with flowers. But the scene before, they were in a place were everything was grey without any life. What the f***? There were no transition.
I like the fact that it's not a standard Disney film. The story evolves with a pacing of the Lord of the Ring. I think that the Black Cauldron influenced the movies the Lord of the Ring, especially with the effects of the skeleton's army.
