Review of The Black Cat (1966) by Cam P — 07 May 2018
Last night, I viewed "The Black Cat" (1966) for the first time. I have been hearing about it for years in literary and film circles and finally a friend obtained a copy. We were all generally impressed with the film, which held our attention throughout.
The horror scenes were gruesome and provoked an outcries in all present ! Production values were pretty good, except for sound once or twice. The star, Robert Frost, captivated us all with his acting skills and good looks.
Apparently this was his first feature film after four years in a Dallas rep theater company. He quit too soon, he could have been a star.
