Review of The Black Balloon (2008) by Kate B — 15 Feb 2009

This is very close to how it was for my family before I accepted the Autism and changed my lifestyle to meet the needs of my family, and also without the additional support that I now get. I am a lot more positive about Autism now, but this film does show how bad things can get.

All though they clearly love each other, there is also a lot more that they could do for themselves. eg a shopping list in the supermarket would have prevented having to put stuff back and then causing the meltdown of Charlie.

Ther were so many incidents that could have chaned to improve their own lives. Certainly one to watch and analysis.
