Review of The Black Balloon (2008) by Arman M — 05 Jan 2010
Realistic, well acted,, and a movie that conveys a good message. It tells the story of a boy who deals with his brothers autism. The cast is great, especially Toni Collette an Gemma Ward, but also Luke Ford as the autistic boy and Rhys Wakefield as his brother.
Unfortunately because of the content which some may find hard to stomach, this film gets overlooked, but I thought it was thought-provoking, realstic and an underrated gem.
