Birth of a Nation is well acted, with a provocative story line. It leaves the viewer feeling a mix of emotions from anger to empowerment. There is plenty room for interpretation and therefore is a movie that would benefit from some time for debriefing afterward.
Overall, a great effort from Director/Producer/Actor Nate Parker.
