Um....WOW....I can see why AFI lists this in their top 100 movies....I know that D. W. Griffith used novel techniques, like using a red filter on the camera lens when filming the burning of Atlanta. And I suppose that it is important to view this film from the historic perspective.
...but holy COW it was very uncomfortable to watch...
