[b]VHS [/b]Second Viewing, 1 Griffith film seen.
Even though the initial shock of [i]The Birth of a Nation [/i]is gone, the technical merits the film boasts still can't be ignored. Sure there is something strange about the KKK coming to save the day, but how Griffith pieces together shots to form a coherent scene started it all. It was the first blockbuster and historical feature film.
