I always dread reviewing classics, as if I think they are substandard (or crap) I feel that I must be missing something , that my reviewing isn't as good as Ebert, Ross or commode but then I remember what a review fundamentally is an opinion and I feel better.

This is a strange but clever (albeit only towards the end) film that is on the most extreme end of films about homosexuality Ive seen. I'm bisexual and if I end up with a partner like Nathans lane character you have permission to shoot me in the head.

The film starts off as a shock factor flick and I couldn't help but find it slightly offensive to watch.

Robin Williams is by far the best actor in the film and shows the range he had in 1996, Azaria well one wonders if currently he has eaten too many doughnuts because he has a hell of a body in the film (1996).

It has moments of comic genius such as robins character teaching lanes character how to be a man, and the dinner scene is very well written albeit predictable and not that funny.

Its a film which Ive been told is funny , I started to watch and found that it wasn't yet found myself laughing at bits in the end.

Judge for yourself!
