Review of The Birdcage (1996) by Cynthia S — 28 Jul 2011
The tensions developed between and within the two families are very much deserved and are handled very well by the creators of this film. There are also some very tender moments. One of my favorites is when Albert comes out in a suit and tie and is wearing pink socks.
He wants so much to be a part of his son's life and to help him and he keeps hoping that he can sacrifice and "change" himself, even when things are so hopeless in that suit.
