Review of The Birdcage (1996) by Kevin D — 04 Aug 2010
I just love this film, I saw it again yesterday, and I still love it.
Robin Williams and his partner in life played by Nathan Lane, are great... simply great.
Gene Hackman and Dianne Wiest does great jobs aswell, as do the rest of the cast, so the acting preformance is where it should be.
The characters and surroundings are also great, well its from 96 so not many CGI created scenes or surroundings, so its all very theatrical. The way the actors present themselfs is also very stated and kind of loud also giving the effect of a theatrical play.
If you haven't seen it, and you just love good acting, good characters, a good story, and a lot of fun, then you should definitely see this one.
