Review of The Bird People in China (1998) by Cat S — 18 May 2010
A more restrained and poetic Takashi Miike movie than we're used to, but still containing this trademarks, like the crazy Yakuza guy, some slapstick, and surreal moments. Nice cinematography of remote China too, despite the obvious rather low budget.
