The Big Year: I started watching this movie with lowered expectations so I wouldn't be disappointed. I had heard it was a low key, "not laugh out loud" movie but I was STILL disappointed.
This film will appeal to you if a) You are an avid birder, b) See a. The talented trio of Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen Wilson is totally wasted on this film. The Three Stooges could have played these characters and done a more engaging job.
One of the few films I put the DVD minus timer on and left it for the full length of the movie. Yes, it's THAT bad. The ONLY saving grace is the beautiful scenery, but you can get a travelog DVD for that.
