Excellent cast, even down to the walk-on parts, but ultimately it is so utterly bland and devoid of any edge or character, that it seems to deliberately seeks not to offend anyone, resulting in pretty vistas, gentle humour and a over-simplified message about life.
The cinematic equivalent of Last Of The Summer Wine.
