Review of The Big Wedding (2013) by Martin P — 06 Jun 2013
Cliches galore here but if you're looking for an hour and half's worth of distraction then you could do worse than switch your brain off and indulge. Familiar faces in a dire predictable comedy where I assume the pay was decent.
The stars were not attracted by the script. De Niro is in his Fockers mode, Sarandon and Keaton do their best with weak roles and dialogue, the only believable vaguely sympathetic character is Heigl's.
Wait for the DVD on a cold winters evening.
