Review of The Big Wedding (2013) by Harry G — 01 Feb 2014
A few set pieces work, but for the most part this is an utterly forgettable (if perhaps not excruciatingly painful) attempt at farce. It would appear that writer/director Zackham thinks there's absolutely nothing more funny than old people shagging other old people.
Toward the end I wasn't sure if the wedding couple may have been siblings (though that would be far too serious an issue to address in this by-the-numbers comedy). Having said that, I've seen worse films on a plane.
