Review of The Big Sleep (1946) by Claire S — 18 Jun 2008
Bogart isn't stereotypically good looking, but he "sure has something" as they used to say. Throughout this film women just fall at his feet (literally in one case) and you can definately see why.
The plot is labrynthine, but the acting and screen writing is classic era Hollywood at its very best.
