Review of The Big Sleep (1946) by Srinivas V — 27 Mar 2009
Bogey and Bacall create an atmosphere of verbal sparring that is unmatched in Cinematic history for its sheer point perfect timing, acidic wit and aesthetic value.
Dialogues that snap,a plot as complicated and as engaging as it can get and Hawk's assuredly brilliant direction makes this classic "whodunit" a must see for any Cinephile.
