This is Bogart at his finest. Although The Big Sleep suffers from significant edits when compared to the outstanding novel by Raymond Chandler, it remains as a classic example of the Film Noir genre. The banter between Bogart and Bacall is unparalleled.
Rent it today... and then read the book!
