Review of The Big Sleep (1946) by Mike A — 12 Jun 2011
Now this is a classic. Bogart was great as detective Marlowe. What a talent. The dialoge in this movie is tremendous, sort of like listening to jazz.
Everyone in the cast was tremendous, from the bit players to the biggest stars. The story was confusing as all get out, but that didn't seem to matter. Just a really cool, slick old movie.
As a side note, Lauren Bacall was quite a babe.
