The movie is obviously based on real life. You could tell when emotions inside of the characters are changing at critical moments, just like in real life. How the events unfold, the cliche line from both characters" I am not dating anyone" at the beginning are all very relatable to today's couples.
It's especially endearing and inspiring to see a Pakistan guy leading a rom-com with a white woman. There should be more inter-racial rom-coms. When is the next Asian girl and white boy one? :).
