Interesting and eccentric, The Big Short did its best to explain the Great Recession in 2007-2008 to a casual audience and it works flawlessly. Including many fourth wall breaking scenes, celebrity cameos, the director knows how to engage with the viewers.
The cast was talented, especially Steve Carell. Definitely a must see.
