Really enjoyed this movie. I was aware of the truth of the story so this did not shed any new light on greed for me. But it was a very entertaining and amusing film. I'm not sure how I feel about all of the characters we are made to care about in the film.

Some of them are really not very good human beings. But they are all well acted and are very funny at times. Having an understanding of how the market works and is manipulated makes this film much easier to understand.

My wife, who is an attorney and is very intelligent, doesn't have the economics background to understand all of what was going on. So having an understanding of the gambling that the stock market has become is very helpful is appreciating this film and The Big Short is a very fun little romp - definitely one of the best movies of the year.
