Review of The Big Short (2015) by Laura B — 31 Aug 2016

I finally caught this on Netflix last week. I was really impressed with the acting. I didn't even recognize Brad Pitt because he transformed into his character so well. All of the performances were just so good.

I laughed so hard when Steve Carell, in the midst of a big auditorium while speaking with the keynote speaker, took a call on his cell phone and excused himself. The timing was just perfectly on beat.

I also liked the fact that you could follow the story even though you may not necessarily have a deep understanding of happened to the market in 2008; they explain it well enough in elementary terms for everyone to follow.

All in all, a great film.
