Review of The Big Short (2015) by Ethan P — 21 Aug 2016
Before this film I had no idea what a synthetic CDO and a subprime mortgage actually was. But thanks to Margot Robbie in a bath and a fish stew - I know even less about them. All I know is things to do with buying houses on loan went bad, real bad - and that I watched a damn good film about it.
Infact therein lies the genius of the film. It could be understood by educated pundits but also enjoyed and semi understood by Wall st-inept philistines such as myself.
