"THE AGENT...THE MUSE...THE PRODUCER...THE BIMBO...THE FILMMAKER...An Inside Look At How NOT To Get A Movie Made.".

"Hollywood Reel To Real".

"Film School prepared Nick for everything... everything but Hollywood.".

Uneven Hollywood insider movie, from Christopher Guest and Michael McKean (who together previously made the great film This Is Spinal Tap), starring Kevin Bacon, in one of his most overlooked roles, as a young director trying to make his 1st movie. JT Walsh is great as a studio head, as is Jenifer Jason Leigh as an avant-garde director, Dan Schneider (the fat guy on Head of the Class) as a pompous Orson Wells want to be, and a youg Teri Hatcher in her 1st movie. There are also two funny uncredited parts played by Martin Short and Elliout Gould.

Nick Chapman: It's not that your idea wouldn't work, I mean it's a great idea, would definitely definitely work, it's just that for this movie I need the way I feel about the character is [Allen Habel cuts him off].

Allen Habel: Nick you can stop drilling you struck oil.

Nick Chapman: What is it?

Emmet Sumner: It's this stupid movie. It's called "Coffins from Hell.".

Nick Chapman: What is it about?

Emmet Sumner: Coffins from hell.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

Neil Sussman: I'm very, very aware... that you are seeing other agents. And I think it's good that you are. Finally, I mean it's healthy. But, this is the thing. If you decide to sign with me, you're gonna get more than an agent. You're gonna get three people.

[Holds up four fingers].

Neil Sussman: You're gonna get an agent, a mother, a father, a shoulder to cry on, someone who knows this business inside and out. And if anyone ever tries to cross you, I'll grab them by the balls and squeeze 'til they're dead.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

Nick Chapman: I want you to be my friend again.

Emmet Sumner: Nick, I was always your friend.

Nick Chapman: No, I know. I, I mean, I wanna be your friend again.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

Allen Habel: We're doing a picture in London right now and everyone is just freaking out.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

Neil Sussman: I don't know you. I don't know your work. But I think you are a genius. And I am never wrong about that.
