I watched The Big Parade at a screening with live accompaniment at The Sydney Film Festival and totally loved it - despite the overacting in the trenches of WWI and the overtly masogynistic overtone. Any film that can make you forget the horrors of the reality of trench warfare and make you laugh and smile is worth checking out.
