Review of The Big One (1997) by Chris C — 16 Aug 2006
As downsizing and outsourcing have become common place since this movie was made - and the dire economic predictions not fulfilled, this movie simply illustrates the great strengh of the US economic system - which is its ability to change almost instantaneously to meet market demands.
It is also ironic that Moore fashions himself a "liberal", when in reality he is simply a nationalistic who harbors liberal policies. Globablization has done tremendous things for people in third world countries.
..to not share their story here seems dishonest.
