Review of The Big Lebowski (1998) by Liam B — 08 Apr 2013
It's the most energetic and charming comedy since the 70's. The majority of films don't feel very complete, this is a film that completely satisfies by the end even if you recognize plot holes.
Jeff Bridges is fantastic, that's a given though, the other supporting cast is also so well put together and comedic, that it's hard to quite contemplate the sheer amount of contemplation that was invested in this project.
The real genius is how casual the characters are throughout their obscure scams, at one point Goodman's character is believed to have inadvertently murdered a young woman and he responds with, "ah fuck it dude, let's go bowling.
".
