The Dude abides. The Big Lebowski is perhaps the greatest cult film of all time. From the genius minds of the Coen brothers, this film is a combination of comedy and elements of crime. It's unlike anything else out there, providing an outstanding and unique viewing experience.

Taking place in 1991, this story follows Jeff "The Dude" Lebowski, a laid-back, unemployed former hippy who lives in Los Angeles. When two thugs break into his apartment and rough him up, his life quickly changes. "The Dude" is thrown into the middle of a situation involving kidnapping, money, deception and a whole lot of bowling.

The Coen brothers have a fantastic track record, but this is easily my favorite from them. Jeff Bridges is iconic as The Dude, as well as John Goodman and Steve Buscemi as his bowling buddies Walter and Donny. This is one of the movies that just gets better and better every time you watch it. The story is fun and entertaining, full of dark humor and some truly hilarious moments. In addition, the visual style is also very unique, which is shown in the wonderful imagery. The Big Lebowski is a classic that should be experienced by everyone! 5 stars.
