Review of The Big Lebowski (1998) by Stacey T — 28 Apr 2013
A former hippie current loser known as "The Dude", a Jewish convert Vietnam vet. with anger management issues, a passive friend seemingly immune to verbal abuse, a feminist philanthropist who enjoys painting while flying in the nude, an incompetent father living off of his heiress daughter's allowance, his gold digging wife, a pornography kingpin, German nihilists, a fascist Malibu sheriff, a bowling "Jesus", a sarsaparilla drinking cowboy narrator a likes to hang out at a crappy bowling alley, and a story that really ties all of these (and few more!) ridiculously over the top characters almost a nicely as The Dude's rug make this one of the most entertaining spectacles I have ever witnessed.
But that's just like my opinion, man.
