Review of The Big Lebowski (1998) by Mark B — 20 Jun 2013
This strange film just gets better and better every time I watch it. Initially, I dismissed as a Coen Bros. misfire, a la Burn Before Reading, but The Big Lebowski is tragedy par excellence, with love and death comingled in uncertain ways.
Who or what is the motivation makes no difference. I could watch The Dude, Walter and Donny rock on forever.
