Hey man, yeah, this movie is pretty confusing when you first watch it man, but everything does eventually stick together in the end. It's one of those movies that actually gets better after you watch it again man Jeff Bridges and John Goodman really tie the show together.
They rest assure that nothing is F'd dude. This movie was definitely not made by F'in amateurs, am I wrong? AM I WRONG? If you give this movie a rotten rating, then you're entering a world of pain, a world of pain!!! But hey man, everyone has their opinion man.
Just remember one thing though, the dude abides.
