Review of The Big Lebowski (1998) by Patrick K — 05 Jul 2014
This is most definately one of the best films ever made and of course the best work of the Coens. Jeffrey "The Dude" Lebowski is mistaken for the wealthy millionaire Lebowski and with the help of his buddies Walter Sobchak (John Goodman) and Theodore Kerabatsos (Steve Buscemi) goes out to try and get his rug replaced.
This leads to a kidknapping drama with black comedy humour, noir, unforgettable 1 liners and crazy but fun characters. Superbly written with fantastic performances truly put this movie on the top shelf.
