Review of The Big Lebowski (1998) by Jay R — 23 Jun 2013
Despite the fact that Jeff Bridges and John Goodman are great in this, the film suffers from a dragging plot, few laughs and some random confusion. The direction from the Coen Brothers is there, but their usual genius is replaced by boredom and randomness that isn't even funny.
Such a shame I like the Coen Brothers a lot and I wish this was up to par, but it just wasn't fun to watch. Thumbs down.
