Review of The Big Lebowski (1998) by Max M — 22 Mar 2014
A very funny sort of slacker/stoner comedy about The Dude played by Jeff Bridges who is kind of a slacker/loser who is one day gets his house broken into by "the nilhists" who mistaken the dude as a rich person with the same name and then leads to other things such as kidnapping of his slutty wife Bunny played by Tara Reid who is also a porn star and then other strange things ensue.
Overall The Big Lebowski is a very funny movie and has a lot of funny scenes such as Donnie's ashes getting all over the dude, and with the dude and Walter and Donnie in the bowling talking about the guys that peed on the dude's carpet was funny too.
The Big Lebowski also for it being a Coen Brothers film it is weird especially some of the scenes too such as the gutter balls scene in which the dude is looking down between women's legs and heading towards the pins, and also too The Big Lebowski also has decent acting as well from all of the cast as well.
Anyway, The Big Lebowski does deserve it's cult status, and it is a really funny and sort of strange but really good movie.
