Review of The Big Lebowski (1998) by Sharon S — 05 Dec 2015
The Coen Brothers created cult followings worldwide when they released this 1998 film noir comedic classic. This movie features stellar performances from both Jeff Bridges and John Goodman as the laid back "The Dude" Lebowski and the angry Vietnam veteran Walter who go on a quest to seek compensation for The Dude's urinated stained rug and get caught up in a unusual mystery.
In addition to a hilarious script, it features a eclectic soundtrack of the likes of Bob Dylan, Captain Beefheart and Creedence Clearwater Revival which fits the mood of the movie. After seeing this movie, I would now put this film amongst my favourites and recommended that everybody see it.
The dude abides....
