Review of The Big Hit (1998) by Kevin K — 01 Jun 2007
This film should be a classic. It's a comedy slash action that unifies two unsuspectingly different genres. Sure, the movie doesn't make much logical sense, but heck, the US cast, Wesley's jokes, and Woo's action choreography makes this film stand out. Especially during this period of the HK boom in the West.
It's an experience. Leave it as that. You'll hate it or love it.
