The action wasn't bad but got stylize to quite a bad taste. China Chow is really pretty. Story is quite interesting. Mark Wahlberg, Lou Diamond Phillips, Bokeem Woodbine & Antonio Sabato Jr. are hitmen working for Avery Brooks.
Mark has a girlfriend Lela Rochon and a fiance Christina Applegate. The opening job see Mark doing most of the work. He got paid the bonus for killing the target. Lou say he give the final shot as he was still alive.
So Mark give him the money. Lou is gonna kidnap the daughter (China Chow) of a wealthy Japanese. But he just become bankrupt due to a failure of a movie he produce. Mark act as the limo driver to pick China.
He couldn't stand her boyfriend trying to sex her and kill him. She is put up in a home of Mark and Lela. The man call his friend, godfather of China for help. Turns out to be Avery. He call Lou over and task him to this job.
Lou can't call out to warn the rest and has no choice when they trace the ransom call. He frame Mark as the one. Lela dump China at Mark's doorstep and left. They develope friendship and even cook together.
She use the chance to try escape but fail. Lou lead a gang to strike Mark at home. He escape with China. She want to be with him, love the thrills. Lou bump them down the hill. Mark's car drop onto his car and explode.
He return the video to the rental shop. Lou haven't die and fight with him. Mark stab him fatally. Lou activate the bomb on Mark. He runs out but Avery is gonna shoot him. He run back in and the store exploded.
Antonio pick China up after school and halfway Mark enter. The couple decide to escape together.
