Review of The Big Heat (1953) by Alain P — 29 Aug 2007
This was pretty good. Lee Marvin and Gloria Grahame were great. Glenn Ford played the archetypal hero, who stood in stark contrast to the antagonists of the film, but slowly his mettle gets tested as the conflict unfolds.
Somewhat melodramatic, but overall entertaining.
