Classic film noir from the director of the German serial killer flick "M".
The Big Heat is a hard-hitting detective movie, where the odds are against Detective Bannion, but that won't stop him from finding the truth.
I was surprised by the amount of violence and mature content in the film, considering the film's age.
I highly recommend this film :).
