Review of The Big Heat (1953) by Paul C — 06 Oct 2009
Superior film noir from master auteur Fritz Lang - starkly violent for its time. Glenn Ford and Lee Marvin are great as cop and hoodlum respectively, but the film belongs to the lovely Gloria Grahame, as the gangster's moll out for revenge.
