Review of The Big Heat (1953) by Hayley D — 26 May 2010
I absolutely loved this film! It has a clever plot, characters with depth, and shocking events. It's just wonderful! Glenn Ford gives his best performance and brings vital intensity to this film. The supporting cast also does an excellent job, especially Lee Marvin, who is the ultimate menacing antagonist.
If you love film noirs, I definitely recommend seeing this gritty and intense picture.
